This X10 3-Prong Appliance Module comes with Automatic Gain Control (AGC) so that it can operate in adverse conditions (line noise) thanks to its advanced powerline circuit design. This plug-in module enables X10 remote control for any 2- or 3-prong plug-in electronic device up to 500W/15A. Simply plug the appliance into the module, and plug the module into a standard power outlet. It’s perfect for remotely controlling lights, radios, air conditioners, fans and other appliances.

The X10 Appliance Module Is An X10 Plug-In Receiver

A basic X10 system includes a Transmitter and a Receiver – both sold separately. Transmitters are control devices that send X10 signals through your home’s electrical wiring to X10 Receivers. When a Receiver receives a command, it responds by turning a light, appliance or other electrical device On or Off, and sometimes Dim or Bright.
